Every fall and spring we offer the Balanced Man Scholarship to freshmen and sophomore men in order to meet the most outstanding future leaders at Montana State University. This scholarship is open to all male-identifying rising and current freshmen and sophomores. There is no requirement to join the fraternity to be eligible to apply for or to win this award. That being said, strong applicants for this scholarship are often an excellent fit within the membership of our fraternity. This scholarship process helps MSU's chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon meet individuals who can contribute to SigEp's legacy of academic achievement, community involvement, brotherly love, and Building Balanced Men.
The vision of our fraternity is “Building Balanced Leaders for the World's Communities,” which is achieved through a commitment to the ideals of Sound Mind and Sound Body. We are looking for applicants who live their lives with purpose, exemplifying servant leadership, community involvement, and academic performance. Above all else, we seek individuals committed to continual personal growth. Upon reviewing the scholarship applications, we will host brief interviews before announcing scholarship finalists. Best of luck, we look forward to reading your application!
For cumulative high school or college GPA, please report whichever is most recent. For questions that ask for extra-curricular, work, or community involvement, please include dates.
The application is due February 3rd, 2023. Past applicants are encouraged to apply!
