PresidentRaised in good ol Kalispell Montucky, I was raised skiing and spending probably a little bit too much time outside. I am a junior studying computer engineering with a minor in mathematics. I find myself involved probably a little bit too much on campus and the community but I love every second of it. I love this brotherhood with my whole heart and can’t wait to grow old surrounded by the men of SigEp.

Sam Hemmen
Vice President of ProgrammingMy name’s Sam and I’m a sophomore in Computer Engineering from Anchorage, Alaska! Montana has had its fair share of surprises during my academic career and joining a fraternity was definitely one of them for myself. As VP of Programming, and a lifelong Alaskan, I intend to make SigEp the most enjoyable and special experience that one can have at Montana State University through a careful selection of events focusing on brotherhood in the outdoors. I’m excited to continue our relations with the Fraternity and Sorority Life community and to build relations with MSU campus organizations. Our chapter will dispel negative stereotypes about Fraternity life by demonstrating our willingness to give back to the community and involve ourselves on campus. When out of sight, I’m probably skiing or at the gym! One last thing: Love your enemies!

Michael Menuey
ChaplainLike many brothers, I never would have pictured myself in a fraternity, but then I realized that this fraternity was different. I joined in the spring of my freshman year because of the scholarship and development opportunities, but stayed because of the people and values. Joining and becoming more involved in SigEp has proved to be the best decision I’ve made in college. I have grown to be a better man, leader, and friend alongside my brothers. Most of all though I’ve had the honor to lean on my brothers when I’ve most needed it and been there for them when they’ve needed it. When I’m not putting in work on my electrical engineering degree or doing something with SigEp, I enjoy playing guitar, hiking, rock climbing, reading, swing dancing, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and going to church and Bible studies. Last fun fact is I’ve lived in 11 different states, but I’ll claim I’m from Montana.

Chance Abbey
Vice President of RecruitmentHi, my name is Chance Abbey. My hometown is Billings, Montana and I’m a freshman studying Sociology: Criminology. I joined SigEp because I wanted to be a part of something that was greater than myself, and as Vice President of Recruitment I plan to find remarkable young men that have a desire to better themselves alongside a strong community of brothers.

Zac Stoneman
Vice President of Member DevelopmentComing to college, I never would have thought about joining Greek life, but after some older brothers found a good friend and I on our walk to physics and told us about SigEp, I thought, ‘why not’? Since then, SigEp has been nothing short of life changing with the brotherhood I have experienced and opportunities I have been given. As VP of Member Development I cannot wait to come alongside brothers and help them achieve all their crazy and ambitious dreams. When I’m not with my brothers, you’ll either find me falling down somewhere at Bridger, or at a bible study. My hometown is Kirkland, Washington, and I’m a sophomore in civil engineering.

Vice President of Finance
Cooper Libby
Vice President of CommunicationsI came to MSU because I was fond of the engineering program and wanted to get a minor in skiing. I had just moved in and was looking for something to do so I decided to go to just one SigEp event. I had a good time there, so I decided to go to another. And another. And another. Next thing I knew, I was the Vice President of Communications. In this role, I hope I can give everyone an inside look at the brotherhood I have become so passionate for. I was born and raised in Minnesota and love all Minnesota sports, especially hockey. You can reach out to me if you have any questions!
